Sunday 23rd October 2011 at Theatr Brycheiniog at 7.00pm sees the return of Elin Manahan Thomas to the Brecon Baroque Festival for a concert, with Brecon Baroque (directed by Rachel Podger), which will include Bach's solo cantatas O holder Tag (BWV 210) and Ich bin vergnugt mit meinem Glucke (BWV 84) as well as the Violin Concerto in G minor.

Monday 24th October 2011 at Theatr Brycheiniog at 7.00pm 
For the 300th anniversary of Vivaldi's ground-breaking collection L'estro Armonico (Opus 3), twelve concertos for 1, 2 or 4 solo violins and strings. Rachel Podger will be joined by some of her virtuoso violinist friends as well as returning cellist Alison McGillivray. 
The Brecon Baroque Festival Orchestra  will also welcome up-and-coming young Welsh soprano Sian Winstanley who will sing dramatic works from Handel's time in Rome, including Saeviat Tellus.
